Recent Deployments:

~  Summerville Flowertown Festival

The LCIMT was requested to assist in the establishment of a Command Post located at the Armory in Walterboro.  The Team assisted with communications, documention, sign-in & accountability,  and technology assistance to SLED and other state law enforcement officers.
As part of training and the actual planning for the festival, the IMT was asked to develop and Incident Action Plan for the event.  A plan in place IMT members were on hand to assist Summerville Officials with the huge crowds and coordinate issues including severe weather, medical, fire, lost children, and law enforcement issues.  On the last day approximately two hours before the festival was to end weather conditions were deteriorating and the evacuation plan developed by the IMT was activated, clearing the grounds prior to the weather arriving.
