~  Summerville Flowertown Festival

The LCIMT was requested to assist in the establishment of a Command Post located at the Armory in Walterboro.  The Team assisted with communications, documention, sign-in & accountability,  and technology assistance to SLED and other state law enforcement officers.

~ Berkeley County WMD Exercise involving the IMT Particiapation
The Flowertown Festival Annual craft event in Summerville, SC that draws over 200,000 every year.   LC IMT was tasked with development of an IAP for the event.
~  Horry County Wildfire

The Lowcountry and PeeDee IMT Type III's and the State Forestry IMT Type II were deployed to assist Horry County, Cities of Myrtle Beach and North Myrtle Beach and SC Forestry on a wildfire that consumed over 31 square miles of woods and 76 homes  and 96 were damaged before being brought under control.  Causing he evacuation of over 2500 residents.  At the peak of the fire fighting effort there were 5 helicopters, 1 air tanker and several spotter aircraft involved in the air operations.  Ground operations involved over 75 state forestry fire fighters and 485 structural fire fighters.  Plus over head and logistical support for fire fighters and sheltering operations.

   Camp in Califorina with members of the
   Lowcounrty IMT.
~  LCIMT make second trip to learn from the best.  Members of the team deployed to learn from one Calfires Type I IMTs.  Members will be shadowing at the Oak Glen and Station Fires.
